The Most Helpful Weight Loss App (in my opinion)

Hubby and are on a weight loss kick. We are running, lifting weights, and hubby is riding the bike. At meal time we are also trying to cut back the calories, which can be very hard.

On Sunday hubby found this app: MyFitneesPal. We are in love with this app and here’s why:

  • You can input your weight goals and it will tell you how many calories you should eat a day to reach it
  • There’s a food diary to count your food calories
  • There’s an exercise diary to count calories loss
  • There are progress reports
  • Tools
  • There is an website version to

I personally never thought I would ever use a food diary but it’s so quick and easy to plug in your food and the app calculates the calories for you; which as a busy mom is super helpful. The app has also helped keep us motivated and focused on eating right and working out. I am even joining a running club today because I have really started to enjoy running, where as before it was just a chore. Go figure.
